Southern HeART Festival

The Southern HeART Festival was created in 1996-1997
to provide creative and respectful environments
where people can connect
with the Creator God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Southern HeART Festival celebrates the Christian faith - that God loves us all and entered our world as the man Jesus Christ to bring us forgiveness, joy, hope and peace. In the living, dying and rising of Jesus we see God, the divine artist, bringing meaning to every human experience. We believe that Jesus' sacrifice reconciles us with God and each other and that God's Spirit is active in the world and our hearts today.

Jesus said: "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." (John 7:37-38).

Festival Theme Song: heART
by Deborah Dicembre

There's a heart in this country that sings a victr'y song
It reaches out to others and hope will keep it strong

By taking hold of Jesus and His work done on the cross
we're covered by the awesome hand of God

The power of the Gospel is the light of life for man
No greater love is known than that a man lay down His life
and love that flows from heaven knows no bounds

There's a heart in this country, a heart in this country,
a heart in this country
