When you first start thinking about an event, let your imagination take you to visualising the event. Imagine the venue, the people, the program and the response. Really try to "see" the event and write down all the aspects that come to mind.
Share the Dream
Share the vision for the event with others - take on board their response and ideas. Develop the event. Write it down. Build a team with those who really share the vision, who will support you, who are enthusiastic about seeing it happen and who want to put their energy into making it happen.
Aims & Goals
Some things to consider are:
Write it down. Refine it. Continue to refine it as time goes by.

Aims & Goals
Some things to consider are:
- Why do you want to hold an event?
- What are you really trying to achieve?
- Is there a specific purpose for the event?
- When will the event be held?
- Where will the event be held?
- Who will benefit from this event?
- Who will attend the event (audience demographic - e.g. age, background, income, where they live)?
- How many people do you expect?
- Will you charge for the event?
- What outcome do you expect from this event (e.g. a good time? changed lives? a changed world?)?
Write it down. Refine it. Continue to refine it as time goes by.
